North star cup III/2021

The 3rd North Star cup took place in June/July 2021. Format was ABUR40 - “select a base set and build a 40 card deck from it, using only cards of that exact printing”. Banned and restricted as per http://northernpaladins.com/Alpha-40-League.pdf - with additionally Volvanic island restricted to one, and Kird Ape and Serendib to three copies each. We got 8 players, and for a change, fought double elimination - Martti (Preacher) had the winning pile in the end. This time all players got similar memento:

The decks were quite varied, though black called many mages. Special mentions to Tero’s 5c pile and LM’s Plague Rats!
