North Star cup I/2021

The very first North Star cup took place in March 2021. Bored with the COVID situation, and encouraged by experiences from international webcam tournaments, we decided to organize a Finnish one.

We got ten players, and fought 4 rounds of Swiss followed by top four. The final standings of the Swiss:

In the quarterfinals, Jarno beat Timo, and Tuukka beat Tero. The finals ended up with a 2-1 win for Jarno’s Trulls and Fallen Angels, even mighty Shivans succumbed to the pestilences unleashed by the trulls. Congrats! For all participants, we got a small memento of the good times had:
