FOYO 2025 organizer’s report

Here are some pictures and few words to take you back to the party.

Early arrivals on Thursday. We booked a table at a fine local restaurant for some good food and wine.

After the last travellers arrived, we headed to one of our local watering holes and enjoyed the great Belgian beer selection at Tuulensuu.

We enjoyed ourselves a bit too much, then decided we need to sleep before the long weekend.

Friday and labourcon is on! Here is the good Doctor Boyle doing some manual labour. It’s not all fun and games, we prepped the yard and garden for the party.

Barbecue some food and a cold beverage in hand. Life is good.

Open the hot tub and the captain shall appear.

Eventually we had to move to the city, to our nerd sanctuary Save File, where we played Cube and Antti40 World Championship. Antti40 is Alpha40 League rules, but you can build your deck with all Revised or all Unlimited or Beta or Alpha, but only one. You can still only use the cards printed in Alpha.

Psychic Venom is a thing in the format.

The venue was great for event of this size.

It was clear from the start that the captain will go down with the ship.

After the games it is good to just socialize with the gang. Pasi and Erkka still have to try and focus.

Weather was lovely.
