Weekend, cottage, sauna and old cards. And especially this:

I had my 40th birthday in Spring, but why not celebrate it again with different crowd? I had squirreled away a draft set of 4th some years ago, planning it for this occasion. And it was a blast! The packs smelled just like they should, and multiple laces were found in them, just perfect.

Got also a Chronicles booster as a gift (as well as good drinks, cheers!).

We got eight players drafting, and some results:

Here’s the winning deck featuring Verduran Enchantress. Not mine, but the lady winning the day made me so happy…

Adn second place was split between RG featuring Bird Maiden beats and UB pestilence control (Boy, Giant Tortoise was good) and mystery third deck (no image)

After draft, it was “sauna, palju and beer” time, and the next day a four person SWE tournament and OS cube drafting.

No pics of Cube, but it was nice experience, alpha to mirage block. Drafted mainly white tokens myself (Outpost guys and pegasi) which worked out nicely.

Managed to win SWE with Sindbad’s stories of Djinns and Efreets, which I build due to finally getting playset of Erhnams together. More about this in separate post soon, probably…
